If such an entry is present in those sections, right-click and select Uninstall. Once in there, look for an entry in either the Printers or Universal Serial Bus categories for "USB Composite Device," or noted as Canon, with a yellow triangle beside it. You may need to enter your Admin password. Something you can try is to connect the USB cord, then open the computer's Device Manager. If the computer is a laptop, ensure it is connected to external power. USB signals when running on battery can be problematic for the MF4350d. One other possible cause would be if the computer is a laptop, and running on battery power. Alternatively, your security software or firewall may still be blocking the printer's signals, or see it as a duplicate device (and thus suspicious). It's possible for that setting to have been turned off. Normally, plugging in the USB cord after the drivers installed would cause the computer to automatically detect and register the printer. Piece of CR*P software.I'm happy to hear that we got scanning working! They suggested that I go to the dealer and have them update my card. Contacted Nav support and the only advice I got was to disable my Virus software. I also have an XP PC and tried a different version of the toolbox 3.34 config 34.431d and it would load but then state that the service was unavailable. I thought that maybe the auto update was defective so I uninstalled and installed a new download and the same results. The only thing I noticed was that the app window would flicker every 10 seconds or so. I mean it did not recognize my card nor ask me to log on. I opened the Toolbox and it connected to the server and I inserted my Mazda SD card and nothing happened. I was at version 4.3.0.0 and was forced to upgrade to version 103123. When I opened my Toolbox it wanted to install a new version. Yesterday I wanted to check if there were any updates to the Nav maps.
